RCC Suppressed. Website Down.

Reports from inside the RCC say that this evening the College of Bishops voted to suppress the church. Visits to the church’s website result in a simple place holder page. It is unclear from the message of the page if the church will simply reappear under a new name, if this is a temporary public relations show, or if this is the end of the Reformed Catholic Church.

Stay tuned for updates.

  1. Former RCC Clergy Says:

The website is actually still mostly up–only the home/index page has been taken down. If you search on Ascension of our Lord Columbus you will find the parish page and from there you can click to many many other pages including some with clergy who have left and asked to be taken off quite a while ago.

The website can also be accessed from one called
world wide home…this was discovered yesterday
quite by accident! The page with clergy photos
has David Frazee listed as “acting” presiding
bishop. Philip/George is a few rows down on the
right and listed as Metropolitan Archbishop Emeritus!
Are they or are they not still functioning? And what
recourse do those clergy who have resigned but are
    still listed as active have?

  3. Former RCC Clergy Says:

They are definitely still functioning at Ascension Cathedral even if they claim the RCC is no longer in existence.

Marcis Heckman is the webmaster and direct complaints to him have resulted in some clergy’s names being taken off. He can be called at the church phone number listed on the website. Search on Ascension Cathedral Columbus or Ascension of Our Lord Columbus.

Updates are still being made to the RCC website. The college of bishops, which recently had over 20 members, is now down to 11. Instead of a group of respected prelates, they are now referred to as the “hall of shame”: http://www.reformedcatholicchurch.org/College%20of%20Bishops.htm

Requests for removal from the site can be sent to Marcis “Farmville” Heckman at PaxPress@reformedcatholicchurch.org

It appears that web sites previously accessible are now down…HOWEVER!….If you go to PaterNosterHouse.org you will find “Fr.Philip Zimmerman”, “Fr. David Frazee”, and MR.Stephen Wilson.
How is it that Zimmerman is still “over” Pater Noster House now that his criminal background has been made public.P.N.H. recieves federal founding doesn’t it?

My sense, and I could be mistaken, is that Phillip’s role in Pater Noster house is altogether separate from his role in the former “Reformed Catholic Church.” Insofar as PNH is not an official entity of the legal body formerly known as the “RCC,” it would seem the two are essentially unrelated. Furthermore, I cannot imagine that Phillip would for any reason be unable to retain the title “father” should he choose to… by legal standards anyway.

Unfortunately, the website for the Reformed Catholic Church seems to be back up and in the process of expanding: http://www.reformedcatholicchurch.org/
